About ALRI

It is a non-profit organization based in the United States, established in 2025. The institute aims to enhance U.S. engagement in supporting Libya’s democratic transition and building effective state institutions. It also seeks to build bridges of communication between Libyan and American elites to foster mutual understanding and productive cooperation between the two nations.

The organization is led by a group of highly educated Libyan scholars based in both the United Kingdom and Libya, who bring extensive expertise and academic excellence to its mission.
